Trooper Ralph Tatoian
|
On
April 20, 2005, Missouri State Highway Patrolman Ralph Tatoian was killed while
responding to a call to assist in the manhunt for an armed robbery suspect who
had shot a Gasconade County Sheriff's Deputy in the head.
Trooper Tatoian was a member of the elite Highway Patrol Special Emergency
Response Team (SERT). As a SERT sniper, Ralph was responsible for ensuring the safety of his fellow team members
and other law enforcement officers.
After receiving the call while asleep at home in the early morning hours of
April 20th, Ralph proceeded to the area of the search. As he drove west on I-44
in Eureka, he was involved in an accident and
was killed instantly.
Ralph left behind his wife Deborah, his fourteen year old daughter Samantha, his
seven year old son Ralph, and his seven month old son Max. Ralph is also
survived by his parents Ralph and Mary Ann, and his sister Sandy. |
This foundation and website are both dedicated to Ralph's memory. He is
loved and missed by many.
The 7th Annual Trooper Ralph
Tatoian Memorial Golf Tournament was a huge success. The 1140 Fund would
like to say thank you to everyone who played in our tournament. It will be
held next year on October 6th so mark your calendars.
